Waste Industries will attempt to break a Guinness World Records™ Title to support the SPCA of Wake County

Animal lovers are invited to join Waste Industries and the SPCA of Wake County to make their voices heard around the world for homeless, abused and neglected animals.

The goal is to break an existing GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Most dogs wearing bandanas, currently held by dotsure.co.za (South Africa) with 765 dogs.

Waste Industries will make this GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title attempt at the SPCA of Wake County’s annual fundraising event, the Dog Walk & Woofstock, May 6th, at Booth Amphitheatre.

Each year, nearly 2,500 people and 1,000 dogs attend the event. The goal of the Dog Walk is to raise $225,000 to provide medical care, spay/neuter services, shelter, food, and love to the more than 3,500 animals the SPCA of Wake County rescues or rehomes each year.

Waste Industries is making this GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title attempt in support of the SPCA of Wake County to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering pets to reduce pet overpopulation and to promote pet adoption.

You can be part of the world record AND help animals in your community.
