Welcome to My Page
I recently once again accepted the challenge to raise funds to help the homeless pets at the SPCA of Wake County. This is a cause I believe in and a mission that is close to my heart.
I am asking for your help in my effort to save lives. Please consider a donation to sponsor me in the K9-3K Dog Walk.

In 2016, the SPCA found homes for 138 rabbits and small animals, 1,565 cats, and 1,636 dogs. That’s 3,339 pets in loving homes in one year.
The SPCA does so much more than pet adoptions! Additional programs are designed with one goal in mind: keeping pets out of shelters.
In 2016, between the Saving Lives Spay/Neuter Clinic and the spay/neuter voucher program, 5,971 pets were spayed/neutered, preventing unwanted litters that end up in shelters.
The SPCA Behavior Specialist conducted 1,097 behavior interventions. These consultations help pets stay in their own homes (and out of shelters) by giving owners problem-solving solutions.
The SPCA’s AniMeals program provided food and supplies to 39 pets of low-income, homebound senior citizens, allowing them to have the things they need and stay in their own homes.
There were 1,020 animals fostered in the SPCA’s Foster Care Program last year. The SPCA provides the necessary supplies and medical care while a foster family provides the time, love, and space for pets that may not be ready for adoption just yet. If we weren’t able to send the pets to fosters, those pets would take up much-needed space for adoptable animals while they healed.
These numbers should show your big-picture friends that supporting you in your Dog Walk efforts is a worthwhile investment. These are numbers you can be proud of! By supporting the Dog Walk they are creating a more humane community in Wake County and beyond. Share these great numbers and ask friends and family to sponsor your efforts to help!
I appreciate your help!
