Tara Lynn - 7th year supporting the SPCA
Please Sponsor Me ...
I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets at the SPCA of Wake County by sponsoring me in the 18th annual K9-3K Dog Walk & Woofstock.
This will be my seventh year participating in this event! While the last few years, I haven't walked the course, I have spent the day volunteering to photograph the event through my business InBetween the Blinks Photography. I first started my volunteer work with shelter animals in 2009 when I lived in Charleston, SC. When I moved to Raleigh in January of 2011, one of the first things I did was connect with the SPCA to offer my services as a volunteer photographer.
I am now also a proud staff member at the SPCA surving as the Communications Manager and still able to volunteer my time photographing the animals in need of homes. Please help me reach my goal as I am dedicating my walk to my dog Baxter and our previous dog Lily. Lily now has a new home, but will never lose her special place in my heart.
Giving a gift is easy! Click the round "Donate To My Walk Goal" button to help me reach my fundraising goal. A gift of any size is greatly appreciated ... and needed.
Why you and I can make such a big impact ...
The SPCA of Wake County is supported by donors, like me and you, who care about animals in need. The SPCA receives no funding from any national charity, plus they do not get any government funding. The SPCA of Wake County is the Triangle's largest private no-kill, managed admission animal organization. Every single animal they save is because of people like us who care about homeless pets. Let's make a difference together!
