Dear Family and Friends,
I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to help the homeless pets at the SPCA of Wake County and participate in the 17th Annual K9-3K Dog Walk and Woofstock.
This year, the SPCA of Wake County is celebrating its 50 year anniversary, and I invite you to help me celebrate and attain my goal to help support the SPCA's No-Kill efforts. I am walking this year with Triangle Rabbits in support of the SPCA's rabbits, over a hundred of which were adopted out last year alone! Madeline, the beautiful bunny in my photo, is one of them! I adopted her last year after the SPCA took her in in spite of being very ill and in need of extra treatment, and I am so happy to have added her to my family; recently, she helped me teach a group of first graders how to care for house rabbits.
I joined the walk because I want to give these animals who have been abandoned, abused and neglected a chance to find a family of their own. I am proud to support this No-Kill work.
Will you please consider sponsoring me in the SPCA of Wake County’s K9-3K Dog Walk on Saturday, April 29 and help me reach my fundraising goal? Your gift is tax-deductible.
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause -- you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. I believe that every pet, including rabbits like Madeline, deserves a loving home. This is a belief and a mission that is close to my heart. I think you believe it too.
Please help. Any amount makes a difference. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
All the best,
