As many of you know, I had to say goodbye to my sweet companion last month.  This was very unexpected and I've been devastated by this loss.  Ayla was a special girl.  She didn't have a great start to her life as she was traumatized and dumped by someone who just didn't care. She continued to struggle when she had to have ligament surgery on both of her back legs, but she brought more joy to me and my family than I can express.   I've decided to hold off from rescuing another canine companionn until I retire.  Instead I'm going to redirect my canine funds to help other animals in need.

I hope you'll support my efforts to help homeless pets at the SPCA of Wake County by sponsoring me in the 18th annual K9-3K Dog Walk & Woofstock.

This event is an annual tradition that brings animal lovers together for a fun walk and day of festivities with a very important purpose: Helping the SPCA care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets, and giving them a second chance at happiness in a forever home.

This is a cause I believe in and a mission that is close to my heart. I am asking for your help in my effort to save lives. If animals have brought you as much joy as they've given me, this is your opportunity to show some love to homeless pets and change their lives for the better. Thank you so much for helping me make a difference to homeless pets. I appreciate your support!

Giving a gift is easy! Click the round "Donate To My Walk Goal" button to help me reach my fundraising goal. A gift of any size is greatly appreciated ... and needed.

Why you and I can make such a big impact ...
The SPCA of Wake County is supported by donors, like me and you, who care about animals in need. The SPCA receives no funding from any national charity, plus they do not get any government funding. The SPCA of Wake County is the Triangle's largest private no-kill, managed admission animal organization. Every single animal they save is because of people like us who care about homeless pets. Let's make a difference together!
